Disney A Day: Day 9 - Fun and Fancy Free

Willie the giant. Love this big fella! Mickey and the beanstalk is still to this day probably one of my favorite Disney shorts. This guy was fun to draw!

Disney A Day: Day 8 - Make Mine Music

Wow... I kinda fell behind with my posts. Peter and the wolf. Loved this short when I was a kid. Geez... At this rate, it's gonna take me the rest of the year to get this project done.

Disney A Day: Day 7 - Three Caballeros

Three Caballeros... admittedly NOT one of my favorite Disney films but it does have my favorite Disney character of all time in it so it can't really be ALL that bad now can it?

Disney A Day: Day 6 - Saludos Amigos

Yes I am aware that this is not a deer... but the fact is, I'm drawing my favorite character from each Disney film and that lame deer was NOT my favorite character. Flower was the show stopper.

Disney A Day: Day 4 - Dumbo

My daughters favorite (or one of them) is Dumbo. I was trying to decide between Dumbo or Timothy Mouse but ultimately my little girls favorite won out.

Disney A Day: Day 3 - Fantasia

Don't know why, but I've always loved these brooms. Just something about them. Actually, I love ALL of Fantasia and it was hard to choose between Chernabog or a marching broom. I actually did both but liked how the broom turned out better.

Okay Okay... so I screwed up my posts the first few days so you're getting like 3 or 4 all in one day. I'll be better from here on out.

Started up a little project for fun where I've decided to draw my favorite character from each of the Disney animated movies every day until I've done all 52!

My Ride With The Alien

It's official! 'My Ride With The Alien' is now available to download from the iTunes store for your iPhone or iPad. It has adventures with aliens, a heroic little girl and plenty of other fun things to learn about spcae. Go get a copy of it for you and your little ones!

Aliens are Landing!

So I am working on another book with Cary Snowden. This one is an alien adventure to outer space. Something that unfortunately I have no interest in being the hater of all things science fiction that I am. VERY excited to be doing this book and I will start posting more images here and there I PROMISE. In the meantime, enjoy this small, green little fellow.

Wow. I am REALLY bad at this blogging thing. I mean... REALLLLLLLLLY bad. Possibly I'll get better someday but most likely not.

Just wanted to let all 1 or 2 of you who look at this blog know that I will finally be finishing my first children's "book" in about 2 months! I say book with quotes because it's actually an e-book for the iPad. It was written and constructed by Cary Snowden and illustrated by yours truly. Maybe I'll post more about it in the next few weeks. (Yeah, right!)

Merry Christmas!

This is our family Christmas card for this year. I can't believe it's just a few days away! In kid time though, that's about another 2 years, 6 months and 17 days. Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!

These are a few of my FAVORITE things...

Ahhhhh... it's Autumn. The time of year when all of my favorite things seem to blend together as beautifully as a frog and a Slurpee in an ultra high-powered kitchen blender. Fall is the best time of year hands down. It's when the leaves on the trees look like a kid couldn't decide which color to color them and so he just used every crayon in the box. It's when the weather is a perfect 70 degrees and crisp one day... and a 30 degrees with snow the next. It's when football season starts and men everywhere begin hibernating on the couch with a bag of honey barbeque fritos and a beverage of choice. It's also the season of delicious foods such as turkey, pumpkin pie, candy corn, warm cider, carmel apples and hot chocolate. It's the time of year when, for whatever reason, ALL of the good DVD's and CD's are released. And last but not least... it is the time of year for my favorite holiday: HALLOWEEN. The one night when pranks and sweets are a plenty and thrive in the suburban streets nationwide. A holiday where you are encouraged to pretend to be something you're not. An evening of ensuring dentists with all kinds of job security by filling the bags of children with candy and sweets that any other day of the year would be forbidden.

Seriously... what's NOT to love about this time of year?

Everyone needs to own AT LEAST one Morrissey or Smiths album. In fact, if you're ONLY going to own one might I suggest 'Vauxhall and I' for the Morrissey album and 'The Queen is Dead' for the Smiths album. Nothing says velvet like the seamless voice stylings of Mr. Steven Patrick's vocal chords. Have a listen and tell me if I'm mistaken.

This is a little diddy I worked up for a T-shirt. It's not that I'm some big huge political-type-guy or anything... it's just that Presidential campaigns and debates have always reminded me of Rocky movies.

This was an inspirational sketch that I got from a friend of mine. A short story about a pretty twisted young man. But then again, aren't we all just a tad bit twisted in our own little way? Or is it just the vast majority of the people I know? Nah... it's everyone.
