Merry Christmas!

This is our family Christmas card for this year. I can't believe it's just a few days away! In kid time though, that's about another 2 years, 6 months and 17 days. Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!

These are a few of my FAVORITE things...

Ahhhhh... it's Autumn. The time of year when all of my favorite things seem to blend together as beautifully as a frog and a Slurpee in an ultra high-powered kitchen blender. Fall is the best time of year hands down. It's when the leaves on the trees look like a kid couldn't decide which color to color them and so he just used every crayon in the box. It's when the weather is a perfect 70 degrees and crisp one day... and a 30 degrees with snow the next. It's when football season starts and men everywhere begin hibernating on the couch with a bag of honey barbeque fritos and a beverage of choice. It's also the season of delicious foods such as turkey, pumpkin pie, candy corn, warm cider, carmel apples and hot chocolate. It's the time of year when, for whatever reason, ALL of the good DVD's and CD's are released. And last but not least... it is the time of year for my favorite holiday: HALLOWEEN. The one night when pranks and sweets are a plenty and thrive in the suburban streets nationwide. A holiday where you are encouraged to pretend to be something you're not. An evening of ensuring dentists with all kinds of job security by filling the bags of children with candy and sweets that any other day of the year would be forbidden.

Seriously... what's NOT to love about this time of year?

Everyone needs to own AT LEAST one Morrissey or Smiths album. In fact, if you're ONLY going to own one might I suggest 'Vauxhall and I' for the Morrissey album and 'The Queen is Dead' for the Smiths album. Nothing says velvet like the seamless voice stylings of Mr. Steven Patrick's vocal chords. Have a listen and tell me if I'm mistaken.

This is a little diddy I worked up for a T-shirt. It's not that I'm some big huge political-type-guy or anything... it's just that Presidential campaigns and debates have always reminded me of Rocky movies.

This was an inspirational sketch that I got from a friend of mine. A short story about a pretty twisted young man. But then again, aren't we all just a tad bit twisted in our own little way? Or is it just the vast majority of the people I know? Nah... it's everyone.
